deal? I'm ready to buy but your ad is confusing now.

I thought i was screwed cause the adapter was too big for my car’s inlet and could not get the valve out, luckily it’s made out of aluminum or something of the sorts and was able to grind it down against the concrete enough to make it fit. DIY saved the day but the product worked as advertised!

A good product

Used this to replace a slowly leaking bad Schrader valve on a 20 year old Honda Accord. I was adding a can twice a year at a cost of ten bucks a can. Did NOT want to open up the entire system and then evacuate, re-fill, ensure proper oil, etc...Just replaced the bad valve. Problem now solved for the cost of two cans.

Works well but the core removal tool broke on first use.

I fixed my auto air conditioning with this. It did take a bunch of tries to get the core out. If you are patient it will get the job done.

Everything is here and appears to work fine. Make sure your vehicle is officially listed. I guess mine is a “rare” Chevy SSR and the valve plunger shaft on this kit is too fat to insert into my valve housing. The hand held tool third double ended tool worked for the removal and my system was empty but I can’t use the plunger valve extractor because it won’t go into the opening. If your system is like mine the sealed tool would not pull your valve because it won’t fit into the valve opening.

I can definitely say that this was a wonderful tool. The only problem I faced was the removal tool tip for the low pressure side kept coming unscrewed and that issue can be resolved by putting loctite on the threads so it doesn't come apart. Perhaps that can be something the company can do for the future. But aside from that it worked wonderfully for my 2014 Subaru Crosstrek and I was also able to put on the new valve caps from the bag so now everything is mega fine and dandy! This definitely works only SPECIFICALLY for the R134a styled valves and anything else you will run into a problem with.

Just used this on a 2004 toyota sienna le to change both H- and L-side valves and it worked well. Withholding 1 star because of unknown longevity of the replacement valves.

The double sided tool is weak and broke but the quick connect ones are better. You can bend the end in and it will have a better grip on the valve. It does help , it simple to use, didn't have any leaks out of the tool but upgrading to the green o rings will probably be better.

The item is ok but your going to have to play with it a little. The first time I put it on, on the low side when I loosened the shrader valve it leaked. I tightened the valve back up and moved the tool. I then lubed the oring up with motor oil and tried it again and it sealed well. The next problem was when the shrader valve was completely loose, it would fall off the tool. I fixed this by putting a little bearing grease on the tip. The grease helped the valve to stick to the tool. It took a few tries and I got both the low and the high changed. If I were to change anything about this tool, it would be to make some kind of grip so the nipple of the valve gets captured. I may modify it myself, this is if I ever have to use it again. This tool did save me a lot of money so I'm giving it 4 stars. If not I'd have given it 3 for the hassle it gave me.

The AC system on my Honda Element had started to blow hot. Compressor was engaged, fans were on, fuses and relays were good. I was about to hook up the manifold gauges and quickly realized the H side valve was leaking a lot. As soon as the cap was removed, it was just a constant hissing sound.Shops in this area wanted over $200 to evacuate the refrigerant, so I decided to try this tool and keep the system pressurized. It worked beautifully. I used the smaller valve core they included in the bag and it took me all of 5 minutes to swap out. Once done, the hissing is gone and I am good to recharge.Unfortunately the L side does not fit, but that's on me. I didn't check the sizes before I ordered this and they are clearly shown on the product photos.

I ordered this to replace the leaking Schrader valves in in our Honda HR-V, and it did the job well and fairly easily. I had read the reviews, was aware that many people had trouble with the rod failing to reliably retrieve the valve through the ballcock.The kit comes with two identical rods, one each in the high and low pressure units. Before I started, I "auditioned" each of the rods to determine if one was a better fit on the new valves, and, having determined that one was better at gripping the valves, I used that one for both sides.The low pressure side went perfectly. My first try at the high pressure side, the working space was tighter, and I had trouble aligning the tool so that the quick release lined up and would clip on the port. Once installed, I either dropped the valve retrieving it, or I failed to completely unscrew it before trying to retrieve it- the lack of working space made it difficult to feel when the valve was unscrewed completely. Not a fault of the tool, but something to be aware of. The second try went smoothly.All together it took maybe 8-10 minutes.

The 2 tools came in and I immediately used it on my 2005 GMC. The tool itself is surprisingly well made for the price. I was expecting really cheap metal and to get maybe one use out of it, but the material seems really durable. It's solid, I could probably defend myself from a bear with this haha. Anyways, it went right on and the valve worked perfectly. No pressure lost. For roughly 30 dollars it's well worth it and much cheaper than some of the others listed on the site. I would however avoid going cheaper than this because I highly doubt you will find one with this quality and you dont want to risk losing pressure over 10 dollars.
