Decided to give this a try because our dog has high anxiety with loud noises like gun shots, fireworks, thunder and even rain. The ear wrap is very light weight and very easy to put on, simply wrap around the head covering the ears and secured with a hook and loop adjustable strap.Our dog is high energy hound so not sure how well these will work for her. We did a test fitting and the result led to a lot of laughing on our part. It was like watching a bucking bull trying to throw a rider. She took off running bouncing from a recliner and jumping to a couch and started using her paws to get the ear wrap off … total time less than 15 seconds. We will try to get her used to wearing them during bad weather, but as it goes our last storm was 2 days before these arrived.These should work fine with a calmer dog and with some training they may work with a high energy dog like ours. Price wise about what we expected it to cost. Quality wise it has a nice soft fabric and is waterproof to protect the ears. Definitely worth a try.

There are a couple of helpful things to keep in mind when ordering. First, if your dog is between sizes, I would recommend going with the smaller size. My dog measured 19 inches, and I ordered a large, but I think a medium would have provided a better fit. Second, this design seems better suited for dogs with floppy ears. If you have a pointy-eared breed like a German Shepherd, it may not be as effective.Overall, this is a well-made, well-designed product that could be a great solution for the right dog. It is definitely worth trying if your dog tolerates wearing gear like this, and I appreciate the thought behind the design.
