The towel itself is durable and feels very good on a hot day.I was surprised at how long lasting the cooling effect was, despite how lightweight and thin the cooling towels are. They are VERY portable which makes them great to throw into your picnic bag or backpack during travel. The simplicity of not needing to wet the towel makes them excellent for travel.The towel itself isnt' flattering, but you don't care when it's hot enough to need one. I got a few hours of cooling effect with my first one and I'm thankful to have them.

The second you activate it, you get this incredibly clean, refreshing burst that feels amazing when you're overheating. It doesn't have that weird, synthetic chemical smell that some other brands have and it just feels clean and natural.It holds its chill for a remarkably long time and reactivates instantly with a quick shake. Worn this way, it stays put and I can keep it on hands free.COOLING EFFECT:It does have a cooling effect where I drape the towel. For me, they're not as effective as putting an ice pack on my lower back or neck, but they last for quite a while (until the towel dries mostly up), and they definitely help take the edge off the heat. So, when I don’t have access to a freezer, or don’t want to deal with a cold pack, these are much more convenient to carry.

I got these to help keep me from overheating. I don’t sweat much so I thought these would be great to use when I’m playing pickleball. The mint addition does seem to help with the initial sensation of cooling off, and the moistness is very helpful for me to quickly wipe down my skin to mimic sweating/evaporation.It's nice they're individually packed so you can tuck them in a backpack or bag to take with you. And since they’re sealed, the moisture is already there and ready to go to work.I’m still on the fence about using a disposable option like this versus a reusable cooling towel. It’s nice to be able to toss it when you’re done and have it pre-moistened, but on the other hand, a cooling towel is a one time purchase. At the very least, these are a nice addition to have ready in case someone else needed one, you forgot your towel, or you were especially dirty or something.

They are not seemingly washable or reusable long term, however. The consistency is about like that of a "shop towel": sturdier and softer than a paper towel for sure, but not plush or fabric-feeling. The most surprising thing about it is how generously sized this is! It's the size of a short scarf or a hand towel and quite thin, which makes it easy to wear a variety of ways for ongoing cooling.As for the cooling effect, it is noticeable, immediate, and pleasant. It's the same tingly cooling you get with peppermint oil products and does work to lower your perceived skin temperature. These are lightly moistened, but not so much that they leave you super damp, and there's no residue or stickiness. It does have a pleasant, minty smell.While these do feel nice and work as expected, I don't really see that much benefit using something like this vs. just using a regular damp towel. If you *really* wanted the minty effect, a few drops of peppermint oil on the towel ought to achieve the same effect. This product is a convenient, more portable way to do that, sure, but it's also more wasteful and ultimately a lot more expensive. This is probably most useful to keep in a gym bag or for someone working outdoors to have in a back pocket. At home where it's more convenient to use and wash a regular towel, I would probably not reach for these disposable towels.As always, the above is entirely my own original, honest feedback based on my personal experience with this product. This is a great product to have handy during an intense workout or just in general when you need to cool your body down. Me personally, I used them for my gym sessions after a long walk on the stair master. It really does have a cooling effect and it lasts a long time! I sweat buckets when I’m at the gym and this towel helped to keep me at comfortable temperature. It also helped to speed up my cool down afterwards when the session was over. I kept the towel around my neck off and on during my workout. When I felt myself getting too hot, I put it on for some relief and then took it off when I felt comfortable. I repeated the cycle the entire workout session. I didn’t want to totally cool down during my session, hence me taking it off and on. Overall, it’s a nice product and works well if you need a cooling sensation on the go!

These CoolRush Cooling Towels arrived as 5 individually wrapped towels. Out of the package the towels are pre-moistened and ready to use. They are of a generous size and easy to use, just wrap around your neck, your head or wherever you wish to place them. There is an initial cooling sensation from the damp wet cloth which has a nice light minty scent.I think the "up to 3 hours cooling" statement includes the fact that you can re-wet it up to 3 times as I did not experience the cooling sensation lasting but about an hour. If you are hiking, re-wetting can mean using your drinking water for that purpose which can be inconvenient. However, I can see the value of this if you are especially prone to discomfort in heat, it will cool you down for a period of time. Towel is said to be made of a plant fiber fabric but the type is not specified and it is not said to be compostable so I do wonder what it is actually made of. Also there is no information about what the micro capsule coating technology actually is or involves.

have been dealing with new lifestyle changes since becoming a mom. Pre motherhood I was a long distance hiker, and non driver. I use hiking trails that lead into town instead of driving. Now out of shape from hiking, four years after becoming a mom I overheat. I now am in perimenopause, and I am out of shape with a mom bod. I still enjoy hiking and have taken up long distance hiking again now that my daughter is in school in the day. Unfortunately this involves hiking in the summer heat.I saw these and I was very excited to try them because I prefer natural ways to cool down on the go. I already use mints to help with breathing when charging up steep inclines. I was intriqued with the natural mint extract, and the single use towel for on the go.The towel packet opens easy and is not too big but it is a little hard to put in a pocket unless you have a long cargo. I put mine in the hip pack I hike with just fine. I can tuck the towel into the package again when done using it.The towel is very long with a decent wide size. I could put this completely covering my head under my hat if I needed to or my shoulders. and thin, like a towelette. It is cool to the touch and very refreshing. I used one out hiking and felt immediate relief. I used another when I was overheating at night in bed having a hot flash. That was exceptionally refreshing too.I really like that these are alcohol free, plant based and reactivatable. I can pour water on the towel and reuse it a few times more. This is great for a return trip home on a hiking loop. I also like that the towels are lightweight, and not so wet that they are messy. I might buy another pack of these to put in the emergency bag in the trunk where I also have emergency heat options.I think the price is more than reasonable for the packages you get. I was actually impressed with the quality of these for the price and how many you receive since each and be reused up to three times if made wet again. I even could tuck the towel back into the packet and fold the top over a few times to tape or clip closed for later.

This Cool Rush Towel with natural mint extract is made well and durable. I like how quickly it cools. The natural mint extract is so refreshing. The towel is just the right softness and does not chafe my skin. I like that this towel can be dried and reused. This towel is so easy to take along on outings. It's amazing how much of a difference it makes to cool down your neck when you are overheating. It's a real value.

A great and easy way to have a way to cool me on long bike rides, when I don't have anything else. These towels come in small pre-sealed packets that allow me to bring 1-2 of them in my pocket without weighing me down in the slightest. Combined with ice water, these help stay cool on the hot summer days while also not impeding my trips on colder days when I still have one in my bag. Being sealed, they don't dry out until you open them, and even then take a while as they cool me off. They have a slightly noticeable mint scent to them, which I find helps me relax and breathe a bit slower and calmer. The towels are fairly large when unpacked, so I can use them on both my head/neck and on my back or arms as I see fit, and have no issues tying them around. I would say they aren't of the highest quality, but they do their simple job well, and that's what matters most.

I got a solid two good uses out of each towel where the cooling and mint effects were still strong. A third use wasn’t terrible, but the cooling power was definitely reduced. If you were just using it as a regular towel, you could probably get more uses out of it, but for the actual cooling benefit, it does wear off fairly quickly.I didn’t put these in the washing machine. Instead, I rinsed them in the sink, which held up well structurally but noticeably reduced the mint and cooling effect, even with just rinsing. It's not summer yet, but we've already had multiple record breaking temperatures in the spring time (including over 104F, what happened to spring?). This cooling towel comes in an easy to open pack, but it fits better in a fanny pack or backpack than your pocket. It has a nice cool mint smell to it when opening the packet and it feels great putting this on my head and neck. Given the strength of the material, I would say it's reusable by pouring water on it (ideally, cold water). It wore out a little more each time I did this so each towel is probably good for 3 to 5 uses.
