Works great

When I work out I sweat a lot from my neck up. Cotton bandanas or terrycloth doesn't work well because it doesn't stretch. If you buy one of those cheap stretch terrycloth sweatbands, they get waterlogged too fast. This stuff stretches and has enough fabric to hold a lot of sweat. I just tie it with a square knot and it stays perfectly in place. Very comfortable even for a few hours. And since these pack so small, you can carry an extra. You don't really need to wash them -- just rinse them out in the sink and hang on a towel rack to dry.

My husband and son took these hiking in the desert on a campout. I think they were very helpful at keeping them cool and protecting the neck from sun exposure.

We used these for a wedding. 100 degree day! I wet the entire pack and froze them overnight. Put in cooler. The bridesmaids had relief as we had no air conditioning getting ready. Our guests were happy as well as we kept more in coolers and sealed individually we were able to still ring out while in the plastic. I washed what was left and air dried them and will reuse at a later time.

My daughter had a few tournaments in the excessive heat and these helped tremendously! One day, I bought them in a cold cooler and just brought them out for relief. The stayed cold and definitely help. Another day, we had a long drive so I threw them in the freezer the night before. By the time we got to the game they had thawed a bit and were perfect to help relive the heat from running and from the day
