First off, let me say that I still have regular paper towels in my kitchen. But 90% of the time I reached for these instead. They just work so much better. I also use them outside of the kitchen. I carry some in my car. I use them as dinner napkins. And I carry one with me as a handkerchief. Even after many washes, they have continued to hold up well. And they kind of gently stick to each other so after washing them, you can put them back on a roll so they feel just like regular paper towels.
Wish I'd found these sooner.Based on a friend's recommendation, our family has been using cloth paper towels for several years. There was an adjustment period for my boys, because they were used to the convenience of paper, but we've saved so much money... and possibly a few trees. We keep a small basket under the sink where they go when used, and it's easy to throw them in the washing machine, then sit and watch TV and reroll them. I just put a tray in my lap, lay them out, then roll them up on the tube.Only drawback to this set is that the paper tube it comes with is too small for my paper towel holder, so I still use tubes that came with my original expensive sets. Otherwise, I would have given these five stars. All cloth paper towels get stained and warn over time, but that's expected when you're dealing with kitchen messes. That's why I was looking for a less expensive option.I bought two packs. The ones with the fruit and the mandelas. Highly recommend the fruit patterns because they will hide more stains and they're fun. The mandelas also look nice but have a lot of white space on the cloth that will show stains. We use them as napkins too. Work nicely and they're soft.
I had ordered these in the past in the floral pattern and decided to try something new so I could keep separate rags for different purposes. The prints are cute. Once washed, the flannel is absorbent and soft. Overall, the rags themselves are holding up quite well without rips or tears, and for the price of a pack of paper towels, I’ve definitely gotten more than my money’s worth out of them. The biggest issue though, for whatever reason, this particular batch has shrunk and warped significantly, despite being treated exactly the same as my floral set. A little shrinkage is to be expected, but it is now impossible to get them to stay properly on the roll. I have a small box I throw them into and keep under my sink and it works just fine, but I’m a little disappointed I can’t display the cute, newer rags.In addition to this, I find that the newer rags leave more streaks when cleaning shiny surfaces. I’m not sure what the exact difference is, or if it’s print specific, but there is a noticeable difference in quality from my first purchase to this one.
Item was just as described. Would buy again.
I actually use these to wash off my makeup. They are gentle and soft. I even use them to wash my dogs face every morning and night.
Love the reusable paper towels. They are good for the environment and hold up well after many washes. I Keep a little basket of them but the sink instead of wasting lots of paper towels. Economical and worth the money. Wash well and use them again and again.
Fantastic!
Not long term gorgeous, but holding up and washing well. Love the idea of these so much that we ordered a 2nd pack of solids from a vendor with larger option. Saving so many paper towels, honestly try it. Tube was too small for our stand though.
For someone who used a ton of regular paper towels, I wasn't sure if I would like these. But I love them! The cardboard roll they came on didn't fit my holder, but I have unrolled them and folded them for easier grabbing with one hand. They work great for many uses just like regular paper towels. I love their softness and they have held up through washes! Worth it if you want to move away from the cost of paper towels!
Super cute . They wash and dryer well. We will have them for years .
These reusable towels have been a bit of a lifesaver for me. I am using a lot less of my paper towels since buying these. They are very soft and strong and hold more liquid than paper towels do. They seem not to leave lint. They also wash up well and keep their shape. I use cold or warm water to wash them and do not leave them in the dryer for very long. The ones that I have washed look new. If I ever need more of these, I will most definitely purchase again.
These are my 1st reusable towels and SO glad I finally jumped on board! I love having these to grab instead of paper! They also have replaced my linen napkins that just smeared & dripped! Soft, pliable, absorbant, easy to wash & dry. Maintain their shape (with minimal shrinking). 4 stars only because I'd prefer them to be a bit thicker & a bit larger, but for 30 at this price, I shouldn't complain. I'm saving $$ & trees!
I didn’t k ow what to expect but they far exceeded my expectations. I love these fact that I no longer have to spend money on paper towels. I wish I had discovered these sooner! I will buy again and highly recommend giving them a try. They are soft and very absorbent. They can be used for a variety of different things. Give them a try you won’t be disappointed.
These reusable paperless towels are great. I have cut back on the use of paper towels by at least 90% in my household. They seem almost too pretty to use on ick messes but I'm getting over it. Just rinse them out under the faucet with water, hang to dry, or place in the wash like anything else. They keep their shape and seem to hold their colors well after several washes. I have not had any problem with staining so far. They dry pretty quickly hanging on the oven door handle. I use them to wipe up counters, sinks, dishwashing, stove tops, fronts of appliances, hands, and even drips on the floor. They are soft non-scratch, thin, and strong. It takes a bit of practice to learn the proper rolling technique and the sturdy paper center roll is too small to fit my old paper towel holder so I bought a clear kitchen storage box with an open top, fromDollar Tree to store the roll horizontally. It uses twice the counter space but works well. The edge stitching snagged a bit while using one of the towels, but this was probably my own user error. I definitely recommend and would not hesitate buying them again.
I’m so glad I took the chance of ordering these reusable paper towels. I’ve cut down on my paper towel usage since they’ve arrived. They are very colorful with cute designs. I’ve used them mostly in the kitchen for so many uses and when done I just throw them in the washing machine and keep reusing them. I’ve yet to throw one out. They hold up well in the wash. After the first wash they do shrink but not enough to be disappointed in them. My favorite use is for washing all of my windows and mirrors. They clean them so well leaving no lint behind and streak free. I purchased another set for my son and his family and will purchase another for my best friend. I kept them on the roll they come on and put that roll on a normal sized paper towel roll holder but I’m not happy with how they look that way since they are all loose. Other than folding them up in a basket I will try to come up with another solution.
These are beautiful! I just got them so I have not actually used them yet. I just put them in the wash. But they are a very nice size and the prints are so pretty. They look well stitched. They are thin but I don't mind that because it makes them easier to roll and to fit many of them on a paper towel holder. I ordered the wild animal set; I I love the animal print theme. I noticed that there were some from the mushroom set as well mixed in with the animals. That is a very cute set as well. I definitely would buy these again in a different set since I also love one of the flower print sets. The cardboard roll is also very sturdy which I really like.
I’m not sure why these are called reusable paper towels. They are adorable cloth towels about the size of a wash cloth. I have been using wash cloths, rags and old tea towels as kitchen clean up towels for over and haven’t used paper towels in over a decade. I like these but…the printing is pretty low quality, everything is sort of blurry. They are a little too small for my taste and they shrink in the wash so they are even smaller. It’s very hard to keep them rolled up on the towel holder. I love the concept but they should have made them a little longer so they can go completely around the roll. I use a couple of rubber bands to keep it from falling off. Also, they come with a bunch of one design before you get to the next design. It would be nice if they alternated the designs. I rearranged them so it’s ok now. They look a lot nicer than my scrappy rags I’ve been using and I like that they are on my towel holder, it just feels as if they might need to keep working on the design. I would still recommend them and am happy I got them.
**Update** My 2yo grandbaby lets me wipe his face with these!!! It is a miracle. After lunch, I have always struggled with cleaning his face, but he loves the way these feel and lets me clean him up!Just bought a second set :)Ok, I use A LOT of paper towels. Use em for everything. I don't like hand towels that are used by everyone for days, so....paper towels. Anyways, saw these and thought, maybe.I LOVE THEM!! They are soft but absorbent, easy to wash, and they basically cling to themselves when you wrap them up. My advice though is the same as I have seen from others, toss out the cardboard they come on immediately. I had no problem emptying a paper towel roll for a core. Now, I use these for drying my hands, cleaning up spills, even my grandbaby lets me wipe his face with these! I am using A LOT LESS paper towels. These are a great value, and I am considering an extra roll as backup!
I have a toddler. As such, we've been going through Sam's Club packs of paper towels at an alarming rate. I bought these to see if they'd help in that department, and they definitely have. It helps that they're pretty too! They're super helpful at cleaning up messes, sticky residue, food, dirt, dirty toddler faces, etc. They aren't super absorbent, they can pick up a small spill but a full sippy cup of juice dumped on the ground is too much for these little guys to help with, you'll still need a full towel for that. They're a decent size, about the same as a large napkin, they feel like a light flannel so about the same thickness. They've already gone through the washing machine a couple times for me, and they're holding up very well and keeping their color. The roll doesn't hold them well, so I plan to find a cute basket to hold them central in my kitchen. They're easy to use, a great reusable option, and have probably saved me an entire roll or two of paper towels already
Just purchased a second pack of these. I originally bought the 50 pk because I go through a lot of paper towels because I am a bit of a germaphobe in the kitchen. So went through many paper towels because there are just certain things one wants to toss in the trash rather than rinse and wash. While this does not 100% replace paper towel usage, I have greatly reduced my use of them and feel less wasteful, while saving money over the longer haul. These do increase absorbance over time, the more they are washed. Yes, they are a wee bit of extra work and really, only INITIALLY tedious to put on the roll. But once you get the hang of it, they go on easily and quickly—there is just a little bit of a learning curve, there. Be sure to overlap previous edge by an inch or two and roll them a little tight. Set them on the roll to hang correctly (like toilet paper rolling outward toward you, and they stay on the roll). If they are falling off, you didn’t do it quite right. I just wash them in hot water with my kitchen towels. I have also taken to saving paper towel rolls to keep extras pre-rolled in my towel drawer. Now that I have ordered another set, I will have the heavier roll which will be nice, because the regular PT rolls are a bit flimsy, but maybe save one or two, because they will work in a pinch. Only so many can fit on a roll comfortably, so good to have a backup pre-rolled. I find if I let myself run out and get lazy with laundry, I start using more paper towels again, so a backup roll is needed for me because of the way I “roll”. :D Personally, I think these are fabulous. They can also double as use for napkins, folded for coasters, face wipes, etc. As others have said, they will be more absorbent if you wet them and wring them out for a bigger spill or wipe down. I actually re-use some of them for extra wipe-downs kinda like a dish cloth (still use those, too), depending on what it was used for initially. As previously mentioned, I am crazy careful about cross-contamination in the kitchen. Some get used and go right into laundry—some get re-used. Eventually, it will save you lots of money over paper towel use. Yes, there are certain cleanups that are extra yucky and gross that do require paper towels, because you don’t want that funk in your wash and don’t wanna have to rinse, but you can greatly reduce and almost eliminate paper towel use with these. Not quite, but almost. Bottom line, these are highly recommended. They might also make a great hostess gift when showing up at a dinner party or just for fun.
