FELL APART IN FIVE MINUTES

Package arrived on time. I was a bit suspicious as the packing itself looked like it had been opened. A bit dirty, fingerprints on the inside. Slid the ruler a bit and the main brass bolt popped up, with the spring showing. Unbelievable. I really think they sent me a returned item.

It’s not square

Also the ruler is not made of hardened or spring steel, so once it bends, it’s never going to be straight again. If you only need things mostly square, this should be ok for light use.
